What are you feeding your Bichirs?

My albino poly is very small. Only about 2 inches. He's very slow to realize food has reached the bottom. By that time most of it is gone. I'm currently feeding at night as i turn off the lights hoping he gets some but i cant be sure.

Use long tongs.

I feed mine mostly NLS sinking pellets (same ones all my cichlids eat) and then once per week I give them krill as a treat.

I got a ornate a week ago and he was eating blood worms and pellet north fin krill to be exact but now ignores it and keeps trying to eat the guppies in the tank he is in a 60 gallon he is about to inches I am going to upgrade when I get a job this summer

Its there nature to eat smaller fish nothing you can do but remove the guppies or wait for him to finish them off
