you ever seen sa/ca cichlids in there natural habitat? lots of dang algae and not real clear for most. but the water it self is good. crystal clear water does not mean good water. that ideal; has probable killed more aquarium fish that any. that doesn't mean you need dirty looking water, but do not mistake it, and algae a good thing.
 
Have a crap load in the glo tank, I like it, looks like grass waving in the wind. got around 25 little fish in there, barbs, tetras, danios, cardinals. looks cool.
 
did I say 25? meant 35. counting the ghost. its really the wife's tank but i am taking it over, slowly but surely. :)

wow, I probably saw that video 1000 times in high school and never gave it a second thought. Pretty powerful stuff there.
