What are your fish's worst habits?

My oscar likes to try and eat his thermometer...then start kicking sand everywhere causing the filter to make a horrible grinding noise until it's cleared out. Not to mention every time he sees me with a piece of tilapia or ramen noodle he goes nuts and water spews all over the ground around his tank. Kinda funny though, that fish has personality. :)

oscars are awesome. i agree. i had three rescues that I found in water so brown you couldn't see the fish inside. And two were in a divided 55 gallon. Both fish over 10 inches. :( When they finally got into clear water, one would swim against the glass all day, mouth gaping, then stop for a while and try eating her thermometer during the night. I would wake up to this pinging noise and walk around the house looking to see what my dogs did. Took me about 2 weeks to catch her doing it.

My Barbs have recently been hitting the lid alot while i do my homework and sometimes it freaks me out. They just all of a sudden otu of no wear jump clear out of the water and you hear a thump then a splash

My EBJD has a habit of smashing his thermometer against the glass. The senegals like to kick up sand.

My betta likes to blow bubbles into the mouth of the Buddha statue in his tank, or he poops in it.

He also loves me, but is indifferent to my husband. He walks by the tank, nothing. I walk by, "HI HI HI HI HI FEED ME!" It's actually pretty cute, he sees me and is all swimming and being pretty, he sees my husband, and is like meh whatever. Very entertaining

He also will act scared if my friend looks in the tank, but as soon as he turns around, the fish flares up at him and does his betta dance.

always knocking the bottom connector piece for my xp3 intake off, making me nervous by smashing heaters into the glass, and being friends with each other one day then the next non stop fighting.

My Silver Dollars follow my BN pleco around with their noses under it's tail...they like to eat the poo as it comes out :p. I wish they'd do it a little more though, there is still pleco poo everywhere. :D
