get down to 190-200 lbs, build a little more muscle, get resistance...i'm on my way though :)

Wow, similar goal as mine. I'm right around the corner from there. I've been watching what I eat, and jogging, lost almost 25lbs in about 5 weeks. Phase 2 will be weight training.

Well 2 months ago after a 20 year lay off i started to lift again and I'm really enjoying it.
I set new goals every week but my main overall goal is to lose around 20-28 pounds of fat whilst adding muscle so will end up around 7-14 pounds lighter but much stronger and in better shape.
So far I'm around 3 pounds lighter but the muscle is piling on and I'm even contemplating training MMA my gym has a cage and I'm no stranger to fighting.

I was recently diagnosed with Crohn's Disease so my goal is to improve my diet and health in general to attempt to control it with minimal medication use.

:D Try to avoid raw garlic, and raw veggies at all costs...f you find yourself having a hard time producing solid bowels, try to eat very well cooked red meat. Don't get me wrong, you need veggies still...Just make sure you try to blanch them whenever possible. PM me if you have any specific questions...DONT LET THEM OVER MEDICATE YOU!!!!! This can be controlled through diet alone ;)

Thanks for the advice, but i'm a vegetarian haha. But i'll definately take note of the raw veggie deal, i always swore that salads made my symptoms worse but everyone just thought i was crazy, haha

Me too, I always go vegetarian when I feel sick, or gennerally unhealthy....Now I see it was what the problem was. You can eat tofu...

Tofu is utterly nasty, hahaha. I'm yet to find a meat replacement that i really like.
