What are your quarantine methodologies?

Would keep the water clean. Try a little triple sulfa and Epsom salt 1 tbsp per 5g.

Should I stop dosing melafix+pimafix and do daily water changes? I'll start dosing epsom salt tomorrow, and will try to find sulfadizine.

Thanks for the commiseration mate. It'd be heart-wrenching to lose her now. She hasn't even joined her sisters in the main tank. I truly hope she pulls through, even if she'd be scarred for life, and never regains her beautiful markings, I'd gladly provide her the same care as her mates, as she would be a survivor.

Would stop the pimafix and melafix. No need for daily water changes. Just keep nitrates down to less than 20ppm.

Don’t think it’s columnaris. It would have been dead by now. If u plant to treat for columnaris then treat with kanamycin and furan2. 2 meds are needed for columanris. Plus triple sulfa I advised will treat columnaris. Do what’s best for ur fish and no hard feelings. Hope ur fish makes it.

Coryloach said the fish was ALLERGIC to meds? lol

Has anyone ruled out fungus?
