What Are Your Weird Food Habits?

Agreed,Ive gotten away from the basic,yellow mustard....even for my hot dogs.

Ahh, I can't stand mayo. Just the smell makes me gag. All my sandwiches are plain, even burgers, but for those I use ranch. I put ranch on almost anything esp burritos, french fries and biscuits.

I think the weirdest thing I do is mix my foods, like breakfast foods. I'll put hash browns, bacon, biscuits and sunny side eggs all mixed up in a bowl with sausage gravy. Or mix whatever meat I'm eating with veggies and mashed potatoes.

I also don't like noodles all the way cooked, like em crunchy [;

Chicken feet with brown sauce.

1) procure two dozen chicken feet, either negotiate with a dozen live chicken or go to your nearest Asian food store
2) wash the feet and clip those nails/claws
3) boil the feet in water for three minutes, then wash the feet again.
4) in a clean boiling pot, add chicken feet, star of anise, cinnamon bark, bay leaf, sugar, dark and light soy sauce, cooking wine and ginger, cook on low heat for 2 hours or until the cartilage becomes tender. People enjoy some spices can also add a couple of dried spicy pepper
5) turn the heat high to reduce liquid after two hours.

Got any recipes for pigs feet?

I've actually never tried them... Been offered many times over the years though.Lets start with the soup if its not too complicated.

Actually the beer one is simpler. Get your pig feet, wash well. Get a pot of water boiling, boil the feet for 3-5 minutes, then dump the water and wash the feet( you should see a bunch of scum on top of water)

Then in a clean pot of water, add some Chinese cooking wine and ginger, slow boil the pig feet until tender(2 hours). Then to the liquid(should be reduced right now), add light soy, dark soy, five spice powder, star of anise, and rock sugar.
Cook for another 45 min, open a can of beer and pour it in the pot. The bitterness of the beer will balance the sweetness of the rock sugar. Increase hear to reduce liquid, and then plate.

Oreo cookie and mayonnaise sandwich:headbang2

Jk, I didn't eat this but I know some guy who did when he was drunk. I don't really eat too much weird food. I will eat weeds outside, I guess that is weird. Edible weeds though like dandelion, purslane, lambsquarter, nettle, and edible flowers like marigolds, nasturtiums, etc. People think I am weird but I think this is better food than what a lot of people eat. I also do a lot of fermenting, I make things like sauerkraut, fermented pickles of all kinds and water kefir. People think this is gross too. Home made sauerkraut is so delicious.
