well i just went to the petstore and traded in the pleco. man the owner was a *****. he still claimed the pleco would never eat the eel and the other fish had to of done it. on another note the only thing he would give us was a Bristlenose. saying he won't go that big. then stating that since the needle was in the tank when the eel died he will die also. i was ready to tell him to f off. but i could unless we kept the pleco. really i should have. now next question. do you think a 1" Bristlenose wold be ok with the needle?
