what bichir for my 180g

I feel Ornates are kinda boring, all mine does is sit inside his tile cave all day, I only see him when I feed him.

so most of you are leaning towards ornates. Would it try to eat my female convict. Would it be ok if i got one at 4" and keep it in the 100g 6' tank for 9 months? i am getting the 180g in 8-9 months.

i read that but that just helps identify them. i want to know max size and stuff like that and if it could stay in a 100g with the fish for 9 months?

Ornates usually max out aroud 21-24" Endlis max out around 30" and are the lowerjaw version of the delhezis
