I'm assuming this top of urs is Glass? if its not glass. i would drill a hole to where u need the hose..

If it IS glass.. go to home depot and buy yourself a sheet of acrylic pixie glass... plastic top and just cut to fit ur tank.. and drill holes... I'm not a big fan of glass tops on fish tanks.. ur basically open to disaster of it breaking..

whats home depot?? i dont think there is home depot here in aus but i will try to acrylic for the tops, but the main problem is the glass edge thats on all sides because even if i got an acrylic lid the edge will still be there.

and i think the canister pipes would have to go in on the right side of the top because the tank is against the wall

and i think i would have to put something heavy on it because he likes to jump at the lids
