What Catfish Species?

This is a good observation. This fish is a flathead.
 
I dont think its a flathead. They seem to have a bigger head and beadier eyes. Maybe a white catfish? They have white whiskers on the bottom of their mouths and in the picture they kind of look white but its hard to tell.
 
NOT a flathead...thats a type of bullhead, we catch them all the time in southeast ga and we call them speckled cats...they get NOWHERE NEAR the size of a flathead....

I AGREE...NOT A FLATHEAD
 
its a southern brown bullhead, hands down. Its definitely not a flat had, head is to round, plus, flat heads lower jaw extend past the upper lip.
