Gotta agree with ya. Hard to beat the color in some of the earth eaters, but nothing is more impressive then a large proud male argentea sporting his full finnage.

Pics below is from Angler when he owned my Argenetea

Nice fish Brian:D

I gotta admit, I miss this guy.

Definitely a species worthy of being featured in this thread.

Here's another older pic of Bderick's Argentea - kinda blurry, but showing the finnage:

Nice, Brian! My wife was just asking if there was a recent pic of our old Arg. I'm glad you posted these :)

Straying a little off topic here, but since the Hybrid Section description for this forum includes the discussion of Blood Parrots, that means this section is for CA/SA Cichlids - Please provide sources to back up your statement.

You sound butt hurt, Google is your friend.

No I don't think he sounds "butt hurt" he just conveys what most here on MFK feel about those mutant hybrids. They don't belong in SA/CA, that is why they have a sub-forum just for them. Suggesting a FH or BP in this thread makes as much sense as throwing in a frontosa or some african cichlid.

If you so feel different and agree with the nonsense claims of one certain individual, then please tell use what species of fish that is in your avatar. I mean the guy is trying to sell his book, what better way to sell books then to stir up controversy.
