What Cichlid boasts the best Fin's?

Very interesting question. To be fair to the CA's you really would have to do a separate contest for eartheaters because several of them are known for their beautiful, flowing finnage....G. altifrons and A. heckelli are just 2 examples.

For CA, I think typically argentea have beautiful finnage but some of the best specimens of A. trimaculatum can be very impressive as well. The fish I've had with the best finnage was in fact a trimac.

My vote is for the Geos They have great color and patterns. Thoes trailers are great.

... and then a little more inside the box. S. leucosticta don't have the trailers like many Eartheaters, but damn they have some lovely patterning.
