What cichlid got you obsessed with cichlids

Easily convicts. When I first saw a pair of convicts smaller than an inch taking down a massive foot long oscar I was so impressed I got one. Then red devils, then jaguars, then dovii's, then beani's and ect.
I wanted something that was hard to kill and bred easily... Started keeping central americans. 
Doesn't quite fit for all of them though!

my dad had a pacu when I was younger and tiger oscars. When I got my first fish tank I bought 3 African cichlids from PETCO and it alllllll started there now I have 265g full of central and south americans a 150g umbee tank and a 40g grow out

Loseillei cichlid jags Cuban and Freddy's got me into the cichlids big time and it is still going on from there
