What color background to get?

Blue. Black is too dark, and your fish will darken trying to blend in with the background.

Black. Blue in marine is okay, but in freshwater can look tacky

i ended up ordering a black background. The stick on type. I am going to use tape first though to make sure i like it black.

My old tank was blue and it's good but now my current tank is black which makes it very very dark in the tank. I regret using black.

Personally I like black, blue always looks fake to me and takes away from the true colors of the fish.

Got my black background today, just taped it up to get a general idea of how it will look. I think it looks good. Ill give it a few more days before i stick it on.
