What constitutes a monster tank IYO?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I personally think over 100 gallons qualities as a monster tank. But like stated above you can have monster fish in tanks smaller than that.

if it can fit anything that has its own section on this site for life (ei. bichirs) then its at least semi-monster. so all youreally need is a 40gal breeder with good filtration.

I had to buy a 180 just so I could feel like I would fit in here. Then I go and read the 5k to 10k conversion thread... Back to craigslist to find something bigger....

JohnPTC setup is a monster tank. Anything else is mini monster tank.

55g and up!

The first thing that came to mind was JohnPTC's 10K+ behemoth of a tank. That is monster to the max.

I used to think that my 8' long 200 was pretty monster, but now, if it ain't at least 30" wide and 30" tall, then it just ain't monster.
