What could live with a Timor Monitor?

I saw your other 2 threads about timors and you say you want a more bold lizard in the same tank(i assume u know you cant really keep them in tanks) since the timor is shy. If you dont like the personality of the timor then why are you so set on getting/having one? This is just making no sense to me.
Say you could put a frilled with a timor..the frilled would be out and the timor would still be hiding soo what exactly is the point of having the timor in the first place?

listen, im a 13 year old kid with intense want for a varanid species and it really doesn't matter to me if I can't even touch and I can only look at it. Thus I was searching for a different species that could live with the Varanid to have so i could see it. I don't HAVE to have another lizard im just wondering if theres another I could get so i'd see it more often. But to clearly answer you question my first choice is the monitor even if I won't see it that much, it is more important to me to have a Timor Monitor Lizard than any other species because I won't have this oppurtinity for another 15 years when I could possibly get like a Croc or water monitor.

With a timor, you'd be lucky to do either.
Getting another lizard wouldn't make the monitor come out more.. In fact, I'd guess it would spend even more time hiding. So you'd just see the other lizard you don't want.
How long have you been wanting a monitor? By your posting, it would seem that it's only been a few days. A monitor is not something to get on a whim. They require intense dedication and research, and their care is complex.
A few days!!! Dude, ive been begging my dad to let me get a lizard for years, YEARS!!! Not days, I do have to admit I didn't think of the fact that the monitor would be even more shy if i put another lizard in. But where did you gather that I don't know anything about monitors? I do, this is just my first lizard and im new to this so im asking questions. And before you ask "Why would you get a lizard that's beyond your experience"? because im ready to tackle any trouble my monitor gives and I know what im doing and getting into.

Just build an 8' x 4' x 4' enclosure and get a savannah monitor; that species fits what you want out of a lizard more than the timor monitor. You're looking at having to build a enclosure of similar dimensions (higher but smaller footprint) for the timor monitor as it is.
