What did you do the last time you got bored in this hobby???

Never really got bored, probably broke at one time.....Sold everything and restarted...Now I got this Monster pup....I have excavated my fish room and turned it into a Monster Pit Kennel...lol....I promised myself that 180 for Christmas...Looks like I gots to save it untill next month Chris....Promise I will make ends meet in January for my 180 delivery....

When I get bored I tend to re-decorate the tanks. I might change out the substate, replant, switch some fish around, that sort of thing.

try breeding set ups for the fish.
change the decor etc.
That's what i've done in the past.
This site helps 'cause your still always learning which keeps you happy with the hobby- I'll doubt I'll ever get out of it though.

WHATS THE DIFFERANCE IN A BREEDING SETUP THEN A REGULAR SETUP IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY FRONTS TO BREED AND ITS JUST NOT WORKING OUTANY ADVICE

dont feed the bass for a week. then get some nice females to stand close by as they get soaked.

I don't really ever get bored of my fish. 22 tanks though so there's lots going on. Sometimes when it's been days without new spawns or some new fish colouring up or something else and all the fish seem to just be eating and growing slowly I'll move fish from one tank to the other in an effort to make more tank space. Once Ive freed up a tank I start thinking about what I can do with it and that keeps me busy lol. It also helps that I've got people over every couple of days to buy fish from me, keeps it different, and whenever fish go the whole tank dynamic changes.

I am looking into a SW predator tank....or perhaps going back to my roots and setting up a native tank with the big fellas.

The only problem is I have so many fish I cant bring myself to sell. Ive also got so much money tied up in the hobby..and its driving me nuts.

They are the one fish that I would keep along with my asian aros.
