What Dither Fish Are The Best?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Those are all pretty small fish and won't get gigantic so, I'd try some neon tetras. They will be small and play the dither role. Some other recommendations will out grow what you are already planning.

So your sen smiles too? I love my two senegals because they also seem to be smiling lol. I really liked zebra danios for dithers but silver dollars worked great in my 75 with similar cichlids. Petsmart has them on sale for $1 a piece til October 24th.

A friend of mine has a very large Tilapia Buttikoferi and uses tiger barbs and a convict as dithers. In my tank my Midas has a school red hook silver dollars.
