but worse for a 13 y/o;)

GEEZ!!! I thought he was 15. I don't even have kids, but I like to think I will be a cool parent someday. But if my 13 year old wanted to go to a slipknot concert, I would say NO EFFIN WAY!

LOL every kid whos EVER been born has used that same silly....but things are differant NOW argument.

I say what i think, Many people don't like it. I'd actually like people to be that way with me, so go ahead, every one give me as much criticism as you want, no skin off my nose.

Thats good, but you gotta know when to bite your tongue as well, trust me. I've got in trouble for speaking the truth instead of just shutting up. Have your parents seen this thread?, have you got an email address so i can send them a link? You keep going on about how its different in Australia but you are disrespecting your parents by trying to find a way around their decision. Your 13, you have to do as your parents say, they say you cant go simple as that.

i got stuck in the mid of rockabillies stabbing skinheads at a mighty bosstones show, that crap happens every where, dude, pixymugg,i would bail from this thread .i dont have great answers for you on this and some ppl are just bashing teens in general now,i was raised great,i will raise my kids the same if i can.if kids are stuck goin home from school with nothin else to do then your gonna hate them cause theyll do some stupid shot,so much to involve them in it blows my mind. Some of the best ppl i know are young adults,im at 20 different schools a day and know the teachers and the kids and families well, their are alot of great young minds in my town.just have to keep them focused and give them options and variety,i see it work every day.sorry just felt we were bashing the youth too much, sounded pathetic and belittling to me.

"sorry just felt we were bashing the youth too much" Thats what I'm starting to think

Things are different now days, things are always different from generation to generation. If it wasn't life would be dull. Kids muture alot faster now days even if the older generations don't want to believe it. Who knows, in years to come 13y/o a slipknot may be ok, but know I think its unappropriate if there isn't a parent present or if the parent says no.

i bet my thread can do 0-10 pages faster than yours, it has a V-tec bish!@!!:headbang2

I only follow their rules if i live under there roof, Like my dad said before we got into this fight when i was talking to him "I don't care what you do when you move out, but when you live in my house, under my roof you have to follow my rules."
