you could even stop cleaning the algae off the side of teh glass and the fry will eat that.

Ahhhhhhhh I heard that actually...cos my tanks are pretty newly established I'm still waiting for algae to come but when it arrives I'm definetly going to keep some. I know it doesn't look great having it in your "main" tank but in my breeding/fry tank, would you advise maybe letting the algae grow yeah? What would you say on the glass, or just on ornaments and that sorta thing?

Glass, I'm going to grow the algae on the sides and back of my tank so they can't see a reflection, but for some reason the only algae is growing is on my rocks and flower pots?

Cool idea actually covering back and sides. Isn't it typical that it will grow everywhere except where you want it...lol

Haha thats why i get the frozen baby brine shrimp and also frozen blood worms in the package..but on occasion i have also raised my own and hatched it from the eggs and then fed them the size you can hardly see..but if u get a bad batch that doesn't hatch your babies go hungary..so good luck and hope they all thrive.

I picked up some frozen baby brine and also some frozen daphnia.

The whole tank loved them! Much more exciitng to see them watch them eat this kinda stuff then flake and so much more goodness!

My fish are very grateful to everyone who posted!!!, thanks everyone.
