I mainly catch and release, with some rare exceptions like if the fish has fatally hurt itself, and once a year me and some friends get together and have a fish fry ...

my uncel caught a 50 inch musky and when it was on the boat we were thinking taxadermiy. then my uncel said thorw itback but instead we got a replica catch and realse all the way

Catch and release only though I have netted and caught a pair of dollar sunfish which have had for a year now (hope they spawn).

C&R all day far as LMB go!!

If everone felt that way, fishing in NJ probaly would be like fishing in Floridia!!

Dam bucket butts!!

In Miami the rule of thumb is catch and keep . I have actually stopped going to a few out of the way hot spots because there are a few areas like street corner which I can be seen and if I pull up a PB . I know 10 people will hit it within the month and take every fish.

Due to that I now fish areas where no one can see me (pain to get to)or areas everyone hits.

I usually catch and release. Although, this year I did stock a 55 gallon with 6 green sunfish and 2 black bullhead. Always wanted a native species tank and the sunfish are more interactive and aggressive than most cichlid species i've kept. One day I'd love to have a indoor pond with some muskie or pike (preferably caught by myself).

Thats a lot of fish for 55 . Would think the green suns would tear each other up.

C & R for anything freshwater but if a snook or red fish is in season and with in slot ill take in a few for dinner but besides that everything else goes back in:) i do hate the people i see, the "bucket sitter" were everything they catch goes in the bucket and i assume hits a frying pan...

Im kinda half and half. If its a good lake ill let the fish go, but local lake its keep everything due to overpopulation of bass. But i gotta admit with saltwater just because i cant go much and my grandma loves sashimi i try to keep as much as i can on those trips nothing illegal though and no remoras.
