Ok, here's your choice.

You're buying a house. You have 2 choices. Both are the same price.
Say.... $299,000

Choice 1:
3 Bedroom - 2 Bath
1500 sq/ft
2.3 acres flat usable land
Perks: NICE on the inside and out, newer kitchen, upgraded and remodeled.
Lots of space, away from pesky neighbors, quiet, land for horses and other things. (pretty much everything you want in a house) -->if you are me....

Downside: is it's about a 45-60 minute drive to work and family/friends.

Choice 2:
3 Bedroom - 2 Bath
1120 sq/ft
0.1 acres
Perks: 15 minutes from work and family/friends, close to all shopping, movies, restaurants etc.

downside: Needs a lot of work. Flooring, kitchen counters, paint, and other unknowns. Tiny little yard, neighbors are RIGHT there next to you, behind you and in front of you. Plus all the stuff that goes along with having a lot of neighbors.
(and its small)

ack.... admins. put this in the Lounge

choice 1. you can probably never buy more land around the second choice. the drive to work is probably worth the house. u figure you can probably buy a hybrid with the work that has to be done on the other house. and you'll get at least twice the gas milage.

#1 for me. if this property is in CA, itll be worth some good money - one day, eventually! plus youd save a lot of money since it already in good shape. being close to everything is nice, but to me nothing is worse than a tiny yard!

LOL! I thought maybe you were gonna post pics of the houses!

but it would be cool if i had some nice pictures for comparison huh?

:)#1 more room to work with.:naughty:

Yep #1.. longer drive is worth a nicer house, more land..
