chain maille?

Nope, steel wire and semi-precious stone embellishments. It has silver and gold accent wire for a covering pattern. I'll post pics on my artwork thread when it's done.

Asst. Keeper (zoo), Previously an aquarist (working with MBA, wanted the opportunity to work with a wide variety of animals for a little while though, but planning on going back to mainly aquatics soon), working towards finishing my Zoology degree, studying with the Animal Behavior Institude, getting certified in Zoo and Aquarium Sciences, covering husbandry and record keeping, animal training, exotic animal conservation and management, animal nutrition, health and disease, environmental education and outreach, animal enrichment, behavior and training of marine mammal, etc. And because I am a geek and addicted to school, doing my vet tech program as well. Looking at relocating soon, so when it comes to further jobs, I will probably go back to aquariums, rather than zoo's for a while at least. But it's good to be well versed in all aspects of any given profession, no matter what you choose, so remember never to box yourself in, but rather, expand your education and exposure to each element of what you decide to do.

I am a wastewater treatment plant operator, although soon I will be a wastewater collection operator. we are undergoing a repositioning, and I am lowest seniority at our plant..soo...I will be moving to that area. although I would rather stay where I am..

Does it smell? Or is the smell contained....

only certain parts of the plant smell. most of it smells like garden soil. believe it or not.

what smells are the pits where the sludge (solids that settle out of wastewater) are held before being processed. and even then, you basically have to be close to the pit to smell it, there are odour control units that scrub the air (activated carbon just like in an aquarium)

the headworks of the plant smells a bit (where the raw wastewater enters) but that is inside a ventilated building, so you don't smell anything unless you are inside.

if the plant smelled bad the residents nearby would be freaking out all the time. but they are quiet.

because we are beside a cemetary.

That's pretty cool.....do you have any pics?
