The funny thing is when I went to school for fashion marketing and merchandising it was when donna karen, alfred sung, lolita lempica etc... were just getting their wheels on so to say. Went to a top notch school for it with killer connections and could have had a very lucrative career in the field. Yet, I just could not stand the whole falsehood factor and vulturish nature of many who would ****** slap their granny to get ahead.
So after walking away from 13,000.00 worth of school for 1 year (and that was a huge amount back in 1985), I went back into foodservice. Though, I have always kept this line of clothing in my heart and soul vowing to myself that one day I would put it out.
Well, here I am at a point in life where the financial aspect of launching this added with the wonder of internet sales make this a very clear reality.
When I put them out I will for sure make things available to mfkers for cost plus shipping.
I am also going to do a line of sauces, seasonings and dressing/marinades which I will also offer up.
I am very thankful that I was able to get a location in a university campus as it is so light duty in the food concept that it brings freedom in so many areas. For example I was totally closed for almost 3 weeks during christmas.
