What do you do on your JOB

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
INSTRUMENT DESIGNER. (MFK TIME AS WELL THATS WHY I'M ONLY ON MON-FRI!)

I used to use Dreamweaver when I first started web design back in 7th grade. Its a nice WYSIWYG tool. You gotta move on up, use a real coding program like Eclipse. I love it. A lot of nice features especially with Code snippets that can be shared through a server.

I review claims for medical necessity at a top Fortune100 company based out of Louisville, KY. Eh, who am I kidding, I am suppose to review claims but I just sit on MFK all day!

So are you an Underwriter then?

No. Im on the Medical Provider Review side. We mostly fix provider screw ups and BS charges.

For example, ambulance claims.

They will charge hundreds if not thousands for their primary "service" then charge hundreds more for an "emergency rate" (duh its an emergency), then hundreds for a dispatch fee, then more for night rates, then more for weekends, and so on and so forth.

Once you see all the BS charges providers charge you will understand why health insurance is so expensive! Like during flu seasons, we will get billed, I kid you not $50 for a band-aid, alchohol wipe, and syringe! :screwy:

Wildlife biologist specializing in South/North American aquatic animals.

I also design and build performance V6 Mustang parts on the side. (Which leads to a lot fo track time when time allows.)

I work on a website for a Workmans Comp company and they have a third party company that does their medical bill review process. So I kinda understand what you do a little bit.
