And they pay you for this? G R A V Y train man!...:D

I mean TECHNICALLY I'm responsible for quality control within document services in a major medical company, but the work is very easy and light that, in a typical 8 hour work day, I find myself with 4-5 hours of free time. I don't mind...now to get a tank in my office:headbang2

internal auditor at a public bank

Professional Firefighter-Paramedic.
If it is burning, has burned, is about to burn, has collapsed, will collapse, is collapsing, has exploded, might explode, is exploding, smells funny, looks funny, sounds funny, did hurt, does hurt, is about to hurt, ceases to beat, beats rapidly, beats to slowly, breathing to fast, breathing to slow, not breathing, if you have twisted it, strained it, sprained it, shot it, stabbed it, cut it, wrecked it, rolled it, sunk it, are sinking in it, have already sunk and if your cat got stuck in the tree...........I usually have to deal with it. I MFK for fun:)

Respectfully,
FireMedic.

For those who deal with the insurance:
*We have been proactive in decreasing our ALS-vs-BLS charged basearates as well as dropping charges on smaller accessory items such as gauze, syringes, bandaids. We are even developing a frequent flyer program of sorts*

That's a good gig...
I did the City of Monterey Fire dept from '77 - '84. we worked 5 days on and 6 days off, 3 shifts...that worked out to 10 - 24 hr shifts with 20 days off a month...great schedule...

Same, same.....I work 10 -or- 11 twenty-four hour shifts a month. Our schedule is a "modified california" one on, one off, one on, two off, one on, one off, one on, four off.
It comes out to be a 56hr work week.

I am also Union President. IAFF Local 875, PFFW.

merchant sailor. Work 6wks on and two weeks off with a 3 month layoff in the winter. With a wife that won't care for the fish when I'm gone. I'm lucky if they get fed. Automatic feeder only lasts about a week. One time I came home with a tank full of 1/2in fry. She didn't even notice the pit in the gravel ( which was front and center).
