What do you feed your aro?

I'm sure you could feed them those food sticks for there entire life and they would be fine. But I would mix it up with shrimp or silversildes as treats if I were you. Like once a month or however you want to do it.

AZOO 9 in 1 is a good bet. But try to get Hikari Arowana sticks and chiclid bio gold + (big size) pellets. Your Aro would just love it and would never go for anything else.
Also these foods gice excellent coloration.

Hikari Food Sticks, Hikari frozen blood worms cubes, Shrimp, Scallop, Squid meat in a mixed bag from trader joes ,, night crawlers from the bait shop, crickets.

1. salmon pellets (those brown protein pellets used in farms.. great 4 growth)
2. goldfish, mollies, guppies, swordtails( quarantined and feed hikari food sticks)
3. mealworms (feed hikari food sticks)
4. superworms (feed hikari food sticks)
5. crickets (feed hikari food sticks)
5. market prawns
6. frozen small sardines
7. pinkies or fuzzys

haha thats a good idea, I never thought about feeding the food hikari food sticks. I will give that a try for sure

i think the crickets and the feeder fishes will transfer most of the nutrients over best. the worms no so much. simple assumption though
