What do you guys keep with your bichirs??

interested to know what tcarswell ended up doing?

lol its still a bichir only tank Haven't found anything I trust really... id go with a gar but I can't get them in California here. On the bright side im adding more Bichirs

I got my first sen specifically as a tankmate for my african knife, never had a problem with them. The stinking heater, that I had a problem with. I know it can happen with any heater, but that's the second Tetra heater I've had that stuck on, and this time it really hurt. Both the knife and senegal were hand feeding.

Sorry to hear cholly. I recently almost lost the entire species tank mentioned above due to a visi therm stealth that stuck on.... Water was 90 degrees for a while before I caught it during feeding. They are all doing better now thank god.

How about a small shoal of tinfoils,ive got some in with mine and they are very active and they dont bother eachother and yes the polys do get some food,also in with my aro and dat,the only aggro in the tank is between the aro and dat.

Thanks steve. I might do Tinfoils. It would have to be closer to the time to upgrade though. Im getting a 180 for them soon.

Gahh, I'm jealous, I'd love to get a 180 or a 210, but it's not in the cards right now, wife just lost her job so things are a bit too tight unless one falls in my lap. I've been ridiculously lucky on occasion before though, so who knows?

I just wanna try breeding retropinnus so bad it hurts though, lol. Not sure why, even. I'm just totally fixated on retropinnus now. Although endlis wouldn't exactly hurt my feelings...
