What do you guys keep with your bichirs??

Royal plec, sorubim lima, oscar , jack dempsey, burmese upside down catfish, other bichirs and soon to be a tire track eel. I also keep any small ones with my Snakeheads for growing out
 
With my 6-7" Sen, I have a 14" Silver Aro, a 10" sailfin pleco, a 14" red belly pacu (yeah, I know they get too big for my tank), a 13" tt eel, 4 5-7" bala sharks, and after tomorrow, a lima shovelnose cat. Oh, and the tank is 220 gallons.

You'll be happy with the sorubim lima ! I love mine the upright posistion they have when hunting is awsome!
 
Other bichirs, Johanna Pike Cichlid, Marbled Pim, Florida Gar, Black Arowana, Jade Goby, American Dat.
 
I have a silver arowana with my ornate and they are fine.. i plan on adding a few more bichirs and some CA cichlids like an oscar and JD and probably a bgk and idk what else but it depends on tank size..and what you like and dont like..

iv kept my bichirs with aros,other bichir,gar,knifefish,eel,datnoid,flagtail,peacock bass,tigrinus,ATF and other stuff

Yeah, it took me a while to decide what kind of catfish to get, but I did some research on the lima shovelnose and it seems like the perfect cat, not too big, not too small, not overly aggressive, and they look cool too. I can't wait until my LFS gets some in tomorrow. :D
 
Hao do you keep the gar and knife together? any fighting?
