What do you guys think?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ditch the red tail shovel nose. It will grow way too big.

Ok guys. I have very muck taken your advice. Im not going to get the catfish and not 100% on either the arrowana or clown knife anymore. I believe it is 6x2x2. The around 600L was a silly guess. I have my oscars and jack Dempsey who i actually adore. So im thinking about not getting them anymore and getting an electric blue jack Dempsey What fish could i put with my fish? I know the general but i want something you wouldn't find in every tank.

Thanks for all the responses,
Kyle.

180 or 220.. 2 oscars and a JD... you could try some of the more oddball Ca/SA cichlids out there as suggested.. not a big cichlid fan so i'm not gonna have the best options.. but some of the pike cichlids may be worth looking into, attractive and not as popular as alot of other species out there.. for catfish, i always suggest synos with cichlids. they simply do well and there are alot to chose from and again oddball enough but not gonna break the bank either, and hearty. you could also try something like a favrus tire track eel, or black leopard eel. both will get 24" give or take and are aggressive enough to hold their own with cichlids ime.

6 x 2 x 2 is a 180 gallon. U could get away with 1-2 years for the silver Aro and clown knife but u will definitely need a huge upgrade after that. At least to 300+ gallons with a wider footprint. The bigger the better. I would definitely stay away from the Redtail catfish though.
