What do you keep with your arowana?

I find that the less a fish is similar to an arowana in terms of "Knife shape" or "long body" the better..

I keep mine with Pbass, Flag tail, some cichlids and Plecos! (Exotic plecos)
 
i kept other aros,bichirs,gars,knifefish,lungfish,datnoid,eels,flagtail,bowfin,perch,peacock bass,geophagus,pike cichlid,african tiger fish,payara,distochodus with my aros
 
My arowana is a silver and he lives with my big spotted gar and my two Tiger shovelnose cats and my african lungfish. The arowana swims the upper deck while the cats stay mid to lower. The gar swims all over and really brings the tank together while the lungfish hangs along the bottom. tiger cats are very very pretty fish. Check out my photos to see them if you'd like.

Wow. Thanks for the feedback! I love all your ideas. I really like the discus idea. I was thinking tiger barbs but that is so much better. But can I really keep them with a Ray and an arowana ? How about a pair of green severums? And catfish wise?
 
To me, the best tankmate is another school of aros in there.:D

very cool. I love the fire eel!!!.. I did not know I cant keep community fish such as discuss and angelfish with arowana. I guess they dont easily fit into their mouths!
