sorry to hear that :(.

Do you jar keepers find it easiter to grow the fish out together? have the jar smaller than the other tankmates? I'm getting curious about this type of arowana, and am looking forward to owning one when i move outa the forsaken place.

when I got mine, it was 22" lol.... It's not super aggressive, but it likes to have it's own space.

If a fish gets in it's space, he'll make sure it doesn't stay there.

thats what i figured most jardinis are like. as long as they have their space than they "should" be content?

do you have any experience with keeping bottom dwellers with it? besides the ray?

I have a pleco in there too. I don't think the fish knows it's there. I've been thinking about trying my big marbled pim. I'd like to put an ornate in there, but the ones I have are only 12" and the jardini could slurp it like a noodle.

If you do try another fish, please let me know. I'd love to hear how it ends up.

i have kept my jar 10"+ with 2x TSNs 11"+ and 2x RTCs 9"+ and 2x albino plecos 5"ish
the jar 4"+ and the tsns 4"+ were in the same tank at the lfs
the RTCs were added when the jar was 6"

my jar mostly ignores the cats but during feeding the RTCs do get a nip or two once in a while
the plecos were added when the jar was 8"+
he used to chase them around before and they had a lot of hiding places but doesn't chase them now

so it seems fish that can hold its own, or bottom dwellers do best.

I would love to see if a Common wolf fish, and a jardini could be possible.

still need other peoples information!

Here's a pic of my tank..I have 1 Jardini, 2 silvers, 3 mono's, 1 RTC, 1 TSN, 1 Marblecat, 2 irr sharks, 1 tinfoil, 1 clown knife, and 2 red tail sharks.... And believe it or not i have no aggression at all between my fish.

if you want the jardini to have alot of tank mates, you should start them off from when they are all young. then as they grow up with eachother they wont be so aggressive against eachother

read my sig..although it's not a monster..it stays with the silver constantly and doesn't bother the others..i suspect when its bigger it'll probably pwn all the fish it's with, LOL
