What do you think about the seat belt laws?

I'm with you Ben. I think the law is bogus. I dont think that seatbelts are wrong, I think the law is

ok maybe not "wrong" but its flawed.

I think we should also take into account how many people are actually familiarized with the law. What percentage of the population knows that they have to "click it or ticket". ahahha, what a stupid line.



Oh, there's a law in Rhode Island that makes it illegal to spill pickle juice on a trolley car. (We have trolley buses that cart people around Providence by the way.)

I agree. Some laws are unjust. Don't think I'm all about the government being in our daily lives. But this particular law I think is legit.

It’s the same thing as driving with your headlights on at night. We don't always need them on. But when you do need them and their not on it’s already too late. That’s why it’s a law that you just have to have them on. >period<

You know damn well what the 420 is for.
It’s like this. Do what you will in your house. That’s your little area your castle to do whatever you want as long as its not beating your wife and kids or putting them in danger.

But in public there are laws and order and rules so that everyone can get along and things can operate smoothly.

This may sound cold as @#%^ But If I'm in traffic and it’s because someone got into a wreck. And instead of pulling their **** over to the side of the road and exchanging insurance all pleasant like, now I have to sit in traffic for 2 hours. All because someone didn't wanna wear their seatbelt and they have to scrape him off the highway. I’m gonna be pissed. Because that keeps me from getting to go home and feed my fish and make sweet love to my wife. Not allways in that order.

In the scheme of things I really don’t care about you. Its how your actions may effect me that is of my concern.
