I think flowerhorns will pass soon. Just because it is a newer hybrid, and all new things grow old.
What do you think the next fish will be that decreases in popularity and why???

Arowanas have been around for how who knows how many years, so i dont think they will go on the list anytime soon.
imo, i think its either that dats or the pbass.
Datnoids and Arowanas have always been staples in large tanks. Their popularity will never waiver. What will , however , are the people who jump on the hype wagon and buy things or fish that they arent particularly interested in , but do so anyways because its "hot" or the "in" thing.
i dought south central american cichilds i think that salt water will go down, because people will realize fresh water! YEA

Agreed. Chinese superstition has a lot to do with the popularity of arows (dragons), dats (tigers), bichirs (dragons), fei feng (phoenix), Distichodus sexfasciatus (barred shelter). I don't see that changing in the near future.redtailfool;734997; said:
