What does freedom mean to Americans?

That is the thread. What is the nature of freedom in America?
Why is it wrong to discuss that?

Is it my fault I, a foreign citizen, seem to have more to say about the topic than you?
Even if based in fiction. Even if I took the Devils hand, just to give others a chance to argue against me. So they might hone their view and see it evermore clear. As you said in your first line.

Where have you been till now, to defend your country, while I slander it's good name?

I am simply reminding you all to check the facts.
That is all.
Especially when you are talking about rights and freedoms and the direction of your countries future.
I think that is an important thing.

But rather than admit it, you want to keep fighting with me even after I say the fight never was.

In all this time the only ones to offer true, provable, undebatable, undeniable, simple basic fact were Semperfish and TY1089

I don't want to continue this either.
I was tired of it long ago.
I didn't think it would go on as long as it did.
I thought yeah, they are Americans, but they can't be that cliche.
I thought someone, anyone, would check the facts and shut me down.
Then I'd say "Yep, good for you. See the importance of fact and truth?"
That would be the end of it.
How could I know it would continue this long? And grow beyond the bounds of original intent.


By the way, whomever sent that virus to erase my dictionary...that was pretty funny.

and im not angry at myself for anything really.. cept for the fact that i just broke a nail.

i know this isnt really what this whole thing was about, but since you say it is and nobody can "prove you wrong"..(this whole thing started bc you thought it wasnt right that americans called themselves americans. you stated that that isnt the correct term to refer to ourselves as, then you figured out that indeed it was. you felt stupid so you had to argue and try to find another point to all of this and pretend you knew all along, and another reason why you dislike america came to mind and it fit almost perfectly).. but like i said, i cant prove you wrong here so i know youll stick with the "my whole point all along was that america should know the facts" thing....
i do think americans should be more aware of the government. i just turned 18 and i can vote this term, so im researching a lot of things right now and learning all that i can in preperation to vote and just to learn more about our country and to be aware of whats going on. before this year really, i never gave a rats *** about our government, just thought they were screwing me and my family and families like ours. i think the people who dont bring in a lot of money are paying too many taxes and for that i do feel screwed b/c we know that there are big corporate companies not getting taxed. anyways..
there are a lot of people who know all about the government here in america. maybe a fish forum wasnt the best place to ask your questions, state your biased opinions, and host your half complete/BS-based evidence on how americans dont know their government and are fed so much propaganda that theyre brainwashed.

i dont know why you care so much anyways? why is it like.. your mission to make americans "know the facts"?
