What does ur family/friends think of ur fish keeping??

Of course a few of my family members love it, and a few think we are nuts for having so many....They say, you should have kids, not lots of fish....I always say the fish are a lot easier than hving kids....besides, my neice & nephew LOVE to come to Aunties house and see all of the fish! They have shown lots of intrest....I have set them up with a couple of tanks, but sadley their Mom does not take very good care of them, and then I take it away! Thats how I end up with all of the little tanks!!!

Parents hate it because it takes up space (no one says anything about dads power tools, moms crafting, or sisters clothing though). Girlfriend loves the fact that I am a fish geek and thinks it is "adorable." And she's the only one that matters, so....

She's already promised me the basement of our first house!! All for my fishes! I will allow some room for a couch and guitars, as guitars are her thing and the couch... well, you get the idea. :woot:

Kids love it, wife likes it, parents think its interesting, mother in law thinks I am :screwy:

600 gallon tank in the breakfast nook wall. Maybe I am :screwy: :grinyes:
 
:screwy: :screwy: :screwy: thats what people think of my hobby just kidding I really get asked a lot questions by people who don't have tanks and want them but they do tend to shy away when they find out how much money I spend :drool:
 
Ha ha... I know, right? If it were just me, there'd be no couch! Tanks the whole way-- I can sit on the floor! :grinyes:
 
got married, quit smoking and now spend all the money on fish, but at least we have our health.

The couch is good for a couple of reasons. Check out the tank and have fun with the lady while your watching the fish :naughty: :grinno:
 
my family thinks i spend too much time staring at my tank and sitting in front of the computer on MFK
