What does ur family/friends think of ur fish keeping??

My family doesn't understand why we don't get more "interactive" pets...of course they've never met my oscar ;) . My husband had previously kept bettas, and once I introduced him to plecos, he was right there with me setting up the bigger tank. And he's always talking about setting up a huge saltwater display someday :)
 
my friends are usually fine w/ it..considering the fact i have green terrors which look sweet and are sweet...actually my best friend got me into it..he has a 55 and i have a 75 lol..but my mom doesnt understand whats so cool about them..the funny thing is i don't either..but i still get them
 
The family thinks it to be a very odd hobby, to say the least. My friends have mixed opinions. Some are so impressed they end up purchasing their own tanks whereas others just shake their heads condescendingly (and everything in between). To each their own.
