whats in the 10g tub?

Ceramic rings and a sponge filter that gets cleaned weekly. I plan to add some carbon and a few more sponge filters. It is just room to keep them out of the main tank.

Nice setup's everyone!!!

I know this maybe a very dumb question but when you dont know something u should ask, so here is my question.

Does the sump motor pull in the water or push it out????

Awesomeness. :D

75 gallon sump still cycling. Waiting on the tank. I still have a couple of slots to fill in with media, that will happen after its hooked up to the tank

Tanks w/ sumps have an overflow/s. The sump is under the tank in the stand. The pump in the sump pushes(returns), the h20 back into the tank. The water being returned to the tank allows water to then go into the overflow. Thus, returning h20 back to the sump. And repeat.

So generally, a pump is used to return the water back into the tank when used in a typical sump.
