What else can i put in here? (20 Gallon)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It was a bad idea =( i've gone on other forums and they told me that the blue rams will be fine with the dwarf gourami but he keeps attacking one of my blue rams i took him out he's in a bucket right now what should i do?

When I added dwarf gouramis to my barb tank, its was fine. but when the gourami male started building nest,he kept on chasing the barbs.

It didnt bother them to much since he would only chace them from his nest and they leard to leave him alone.it was a 23gal.but if he is chasing them in a way that would stress them.I guess youl have to move either the rams or the gourami.also sometimes having lots of plants helps break line of sight and provides hiding place.

could you post a pic of your setup

What can i move around??? maybe throw him off a bit so he wont be so territorial

Dont know if moving stuff would help so much.To have them loose sight of each other you realy need a dencly planted tank, even then it might not work.

ha ha,in the end I endend up moving my gourami pair to a planted 10gal tank.they seem much happier being alone than with companions.

get some egg crate and make a temporary devider.sorry mate.
I had a friken guppy bully my gouramis before.

Ok well im returning the DG in about 30 min to an hour so im going to have 2 RGB's 1 Bristlenose pleco and 6 Neon Tetras .... what should i add? i want some upper swimming or middle fish since the RGB's and the bristle nose are always in the bottom i think i should get some more middle or upper swiming fish that will keep the tank active what fish you guys think would be good?

swords are really easy (to the point of being boring) but add nice color. colombian tetras are very cool too.
