I was going to say, if one is trying to do an accurate biotope, Rasboras, being Asian/Southest Asian, do not fit in to a South American tank.
If however doing a tank with Etroplus cichlids, Rasboras, loaches, or certain barbs would be pretty close to being perfect.
But I'm getting so anal about being geographically accurate these days (beyond just continents), I wouldn't mix Mexican cichlids, with Panamanians, unless they're territories actually overlapped.
I dont like to mix either lol
I'd like to go even closer in geographic location but that limits stock too much for my taste.
Im kinda like that if the Aquarium were to be a public display but if it were from my own personal collection then i dont really care where there from as long as their compatible
