I think I'm going to completely rule out the natives. Not very attractive for me since I fish for them all of the time.

im surprised noone mentioned this before...how about a few bichirs?? delhezi are some sharp looking fish.. a nice school of congo tetras, leaf fish and a butterfly fish? just make it an african tank
