What Fish Do you OWN that has the MOST Personality?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My old Jack dempsey for sure, he used to hangout in the same corner of the tank and I also had a bunch of different foods and would feed all the fish and he would not budge from his spot until he saw the red bag that contained his food and then he would swim up to the top and wait for me to drop them right on top of him..

As of right now my 3" AT Dat has the most personality. It dances in front of the glass every time it see's me, and eats blood worms right from my finger.

I used to have an Oscar that was incredible, but now one of my Flowerhorns has stolen my heart. All 3 of them are friendly, but my special will literally pop his head out of the water when I go to feed them. (the largest one is only about 2 1/2" long)

Everytime we walk in the kitchen they all 3 swim up to the front of the tank and just sit and wiggle...waiting for us to come closer. I've heard many people say flowerhorns were stand offish, but mine seem to have wonderful personalities.

brilliant stories people

maybe all three of yours get their personality from each other... maybe one starts and the others are motivated to show off...

definitely my silver aro, I have no problem feeding him but when my wife tries to feed him, she's ends up getting splashed

I agree, and in all honesty I always loved fish, but for years never even had anything bigger that a gallon to hold a betta, cause my heart belonged to my dog mason. In his passing I felt so empty and many people told me I needed to do something about this broken heart of mine. I didn't want another dog...so not ready yet. And when talking to a friend whom has 6 aros said to me you always loved aros why not get one, get into the hobby I think you'll be good...and there began my journey down this path...and although nothing can replace mason...these finned freaks of mine have helped me heal!
what a great story.... Mason closed a door when he passed but left a legacy for you to go on an open another door... nice that you can always reflect back and think of him when you think about how you began in the fishkeeping hobby.. have you got a new dog now? i hope you get another..

Arows are very sharp and always love the familiar face that gives them comfort... they are a one owner fish:D
