My EBJD knows whether I'm going to feed or gravel vac based on a) my body position (sitting vs standing) and b) how many people are in the room. If he either sees at least two separate pairs of legs or my face, he knows it isn't cleaning time and starts begging/showing off for food. If all he can see is one set of legs, he's gone.

He also sleeps with the three botia kubotai that are in the growout with him, and kills anything that tries to get near them. I'm not really looking forward to the day I'll have to separate them :(
what a fish.... yes that will be a rough day... he is a real body quard fish... where are you going to put him when you move him.?

This guy is very moody and grumpy. He plays it up on being the meanest bad *** it the tank.
Actually he is a big softy and would not (and has not) hurt any of his tank mates. Even the ones that could fit in his mouth. He will chase down my sev, corner him and bite at him, but always pull his punch!
With all the bully show and chasing none of his tank mates ever get touched.
:irked: Manage Attachments not letting me post the pix. (large tiger Oscar).

Hm, it'd be a toss up between my albino oscar and my RTC. The other day I was feeding my RTC is favorite: BBQ'd hotdog peices and the albino gobbled it up first. The RTC chased down the smell of the hotdog and harrassed the albino until he spit it out, at which point the RTC happily swallowed it up! LOL, wish I had my vid camera running for that one!

Here's a vid of them in their 250 gal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drmkKo5sJXc although the RTC is being shy here...

id have to say my rays and also my big severum....i have had the sev the longest.hes about 8 or 9" and he has grown to think he is a FH ...he bites the tank and flares out at me trying to beat me up all the time...he has to be alone i cant even keep a pleco in there within minutes he kills anything else breathing...i named him francewa but he no so smooth..deff alot of personality...

and the rays its very awesome just to watch them top each other and the chain of command who is the boss who doesnt mind a smaller ray kicking off up the side from the larger rays head...its just very very neat.. or hunting and smacking down on ghost shrimp...
