What fish I can keep in my tank?

I haven't considered it. I dont have a place to setup another tank for raising fry and figure he would get more aggressive with a girlfriend around. When I first got him, I was going for a mixed species, all male African tank. The Jack came along by himself from a friend that didn't want to keep cichlids anymore, so I took him. Wasn't ideal, but he's been a great fish.
 
So, if Jack is actually Jackie (lol) will that make it easier to add community fish, or will she potentially get as grumpy as a male would?
 
They all have their own personalities. The fact that it is a female won’t make much difference on how a Jack Dempsey will respond to a community. I personally don’t find them as aggressive as their reputation until they start breeding. I like her new name. Jackie.

Thanks! She has been very submissive and shy since I got her about 3 years ago, even with fish coming and going. I think she'd do well in a community tank, but I'll keep a close eye as I start adding fish.
I'm not creative with naming my fish. The Jaguar is Jag, the Pleco is Monster because of his size, and the catfish is Spikey Face haha
