Is there anything out there that grows to roughly 4-5" that eats fish poop?

nothing that i have ever heard of that actually eats poop. Ive seen fish do it, and then quickly realize their mistake and spit out the fecal matter as fast as possible.

Maybe some sort of invert maybe, but still nothing i have ever heard of

There is probably a decomposter, however all that will do is just break down the nutrients even further and you end up with something with no nutrient and dirtying up your aquarium.

The only thing I can think of... is basically plants.

scats WILL, but definately don't stay 4" for too long.

Unless there is a piscovourous fecal fetish involved, the underlying question behind this question is "How do I not clean my tank?"

There is no such thing as a totally maintenance free tank, unless you consider paying someone else to do it. Aside from that, you can make a tank nearly hassle free by adding an automatic water changer or drip system, reverse flow undergravel filter, and a very large mechanical filter.

A lot of scavengers will eat other fish poo because there is a lot of uneaten food left in fish poo. Doesnt mean they are eating the the poo if you know what I mean.

As per everyones answer, you will need to do the tank mainenance yourself.

A Purple Crapfish will clean your gravel, A Spotted Hosefish will do water changes for you, and a Variegated Pelletfish will feed your collection. Get them all, and I guess you don't have to do anything.
