If I was going to add one thing to this thread, this would be it. And it is quite personal for me. Listening Alex?
You know our sister site, Aquaria Central?
Well, that is where I turned for help with my first ever fish and tanks. I was very naive, hard headed, and basically a d-bag. I acted as if I was an expert, while talking to people who have had more experience keeping fish than I have had on this earth. This was about cycling. CYCLING! The first thing you learn about in fishkeeping. That was over a year ago, and you know, I still have that reputation to some people at AC. I still can't make it right in the eyes of some of the experts. Even though I am much more experienced now, I still have that reputation. Our advice is just as fundamental, and your response is just as flammatory, if not more. I am telling you this to help you. No one in this thread has said anything that is meant to do anything but help you. Please take our advice to heart. None of us here will loose or gain anything if you do, or do not, get more fish. We don't work for any fish stores, and we will not profit if you do, or die if you don't. All we are doing is looking out for the fish that we all know and love. And what is good for the fish can't be bad for the owner, right?
