I'm not trying to go PETA, but in perspective...the fish are the only victim. When a bad or ignorant owner kills a fish, he goes out and buys more, and that's it. But the fish...?
Very true! I completely agree! And I don't think Alex should get any more fish! And I think his tank is overstocked to hell, but what I'm trying to say is that we shouldn't tell him that he's not going to be able to provide for his fish. He said he's going to have a pond, that could very well provide for his fish...Or it might not. Everything must be taken with a grain of salt. We shouldn't tell him what to do, or even tell him that what he's doing is not going to work when he say's it can. Everyone has different "style's" of raising fish. I don't agree with heavily overstocked aquariums run by spongefilters, but people seem to be able to work wonders with them. So who are we to say that what Alex is doing is all wrong? If he doesn't upgrade soon, that's an entirely different story. It's going to go downhill quick. But if he says he is getting a 300, and then a pond, we should let him do what he wants, right? As long as the pond is big enough, and he separates some of his current stock

Very well said!
