What fish to breed in a 75g tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
isnt kinda the definition off oddball hard to breed because if they where easy to breed they would be like guppys right.
heres some
Common Nandus a type of leaf fish it grows 8 inches
silver dollar not a oddball
a good amount of african butterfly fish
if you are willing to do brackish you could try 4 eyed fish they may be live bearers but can be challenging they are not prolific
those are some i remember my friends breeding

I love severums...Would they be able to breed in a 75g? And if so how many of them should I get???? :)

i cant see why not as long as keep the water quality good that would work perfectly. but im no sevrum pro

Ok thanks guys..They have an awsome LARGE severum at my lfs....Im guessing I couldnt mix large and small ones and hope for them to breed..?

the large one might pic on the small ones. just like i said before im no severum expert

severums would be great
the big sev at your lfs can be sexed by looking at the face, if you see the intricate squiggly face markings it would probably be male less marking probably female, but what i would do is order super reds or rokteils from jeff rapps and ask him to pick you 4 and tell him you want a pair
another option is dwarf bristlenoses i had some breed in my 125, you could probably get 6 breeding pairs in a 75
