I would probably want to be my mayan cichlid... lol
thats because he's in a 120 gallon tank with plenty of floating plants to move at his own leisure, everybody else is smaller than him (and smart enough to leave him alone... but occasionally a malawian wants to rumble, and he woops them just enough to get the point across), and once had a beautiful flowerhorn as a girlfriend...
if i was a wild mayan, then i'd be able to live ANYWERE a fish can live, since i could move between fresh and saltwater at my own leisure, unlike most cichlids. i could be in a canal one day, the next i could take a trip to see my reef buddies haha, and as a big mayan, i wouldnt have to worry about very many predators either, lol
