Not a good move, especially when you're dealing with a requiem shark, such as a black tip!
I'm also pretty certain that Freedom in America does not cover the mistreatment of animals.![]()
sQwiReL;965779; said:yeah and what are you going to do about it? exactly nothing... do you plan on saving every fish that is sold? or how about this... do you even know how livestock get shipped and handled? or how a wholesaler handles fish? how about the fact that you shouldnt even take the RISK of a fish's life just to put him into a 300g tank when he has millions of gallons of water to begin with. please do not get ethical with keeping fish. theres billions of fish out there housed in the wrong tank, mistreated, or die every single minute. if im a big moron... i wonder how your whole life must have been mr. perfect. too bad for fish... but how about donating your money you spent on killing fish and imprisoning fish to people who really need it like the homeless or starving kids in africa. please... you brought this on yourself. theres more to life than fish and if someone wants to do whatever they want to a fish thats their choice... as long as their are people willing to take care of it after they get sick of it.... like a zoo or someone with more money invested in fish.
your right... freedom in america doesnt cover mistreatment of fish.... but hey... it doesnt say you cant kill fish on your free time. you vegan by the way? because hell... i hope you are if your going to back your stuff up with me because i can go the whole 9 yards if you want to get technical.
by the way... im not 100% wrong about black tip sharks. they are found in shallow parts of the water... as low as 30cm if i remember correctly... which is about 11". length wise... yes they will outgrow his tank... but tell me is it still ok to imprison a LIVING CREATURE? or is it still ok for a LFS to sell corals to anyone even knowing the fact that our reef eco system is f-ed up? how about is it ok for you to take home a part of our eco system and take it out of it's natural habitat... just for your own PLEASURE? please... dont call me a moron... because at least ill admit my mistakes and not pretend "im mr. perfect and ill correct everyones mistakes because im right all the time"
how many fish have died just so that you can have that one fish in your tank?

sigh....
